Trimmable unisex fit

👟

Fits everyday shoes

By four o'clock, you're counting the hours

Nurses, teachers, retail and hospitality staff — the people who spend a full shift upright rarely get to sit down and recover. You just get used to it.

Most insoles don't change much. They're flat foam that packs down within weeks, or they're so bulky your work shoes stop fitting properly. Neither is a fix for a long day.

What's actually inside them

A sculpted footbed built for hours, not minutes.

01

Sculpted acupressure zones

Raised pressure points across the sole give a gentle massage-feel underfoot as you walk. This is the sort of contact a flat footbed never provides.

02

Full-length cushioning

Responsive padding runs heel to toe, softening impact through a long shift instead of flattening out after a fortnight.

03

Slim and trimmable

Thin enough for work shoes, trainers and boots. All sizes cover the full unisex range, easy to trim to size with scissors.

ABOUT GATEFIX

We started with the people
nobody builds shoes for

Nurses. Teaching assistants. Warehouse staff. Hairdressers. The ones who spend the whole day upright, on their feet for everyone else, and finally sit down at nine at night to find their feet are still throbbing.

If that's you, you already know the routine. You buy the insoles. They feel brilliant for about a week. Then the foam packs down, the ache comes back, and you quietly write off another twenty quid. Do that four or five times and you stop believing anything will work — not because you gave up, but because everything you tried genuinely failed.

Your feet don't need more cushioning.
They need structure.

It's the difference between a plaster and a splint.

That's the whole reason those insoles kept letting you down. A soft foam pad is a plaster — it covers the feeling for a few days, then compresses flat under your body weight and stops doing anything at all. It was never built to hold anything up.

A splint is different. It supports the structure so the structure can hold. That's what a semi-rigid arch shell and a deep heel cup do: they give your foot something solid underneath it, and they're made to keep that shape rather than surrender it by the second week.

It was never your fault, and it was never just you getting older. You were sold plasters for something that needed a splint.

01

Built to hold its shape

Every product we sell has to pass one test: does it still feel like it's helping at hour ten, months into wearing it? If it flattens out by the second week, it doesn't make the range.

02

Priced like it should be

Proper structural support shouldn't sit behind a specialist's price tag and a months-long wait. We build the part that actually matters into something you can trim to fit and drop into the shoes you already own.

03

Straight answers only

We'll tell you what our products are made of and what they feel like underfoot. We won't promise to cure anything, and we won't dress comfort up as medicine. You've had enough of that.

Try them in your own shoes, on your own shifts. Not for you? Return them within 28 days.

Questions, answered

Will they fit my work shoes?

They're built slim specifically so they don't crowd a fitted shoe. Remove your existing insole first, then drop these in. They work in trainers, boots and most work footwear.

How do I get the size right?

Pick S, M or L against your shoe size, then trim the toe end along the guide lines with scissors. Cut conservatively — you can always take more off.

What do they feel like?

Most people notice the raised zones straight away — a firm massage-feel underfoot. It can take a few days to settle in, so build up wear time gradually over the first week.
